The Friends of Leesylvania State Park has been sponsoring the Kids Fishing Tournaments 2021 Series all summer and the final event is scheduled for Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 9am - 11am. The event is free and open to children ages 3-15, however, you will need to pay the park admission fee for parking ($10). All fishing gear and bait is provided for each participant. If you have your own gear, you are encouraged to bring it to use. It is also recommended that you bring suncreen, water, sunglasses and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
The tournament takes place at boat ramp #1 at the park, located at 2001 Daniel K Ludwig Drive, Woodbridge. Please note that masks are required for individuals who have not been vaccinated.
