In Person Intro to Sewing Class @ Joann Fabrics

Description

This class will teach you the basic skills and terminology so that your sewing journey starts on the right foot. You will learn how to troubleshoot common sewing roadblocks, and you will create a fun envelope pillow along the way.

WHAT TO BRING

• 1 sewing machine
• 1 sewing machine power cord
• 1 sewing machine foot control
• 1 pair of scissors (pinking shears, fabric scissors, paper scissors)
• 1 rotary cutter and mat (optional)
• 1 pair of small scissor snips
• 1 fabric marking tool
• 1 set of bobbin and thread
• 1 container of sewing pins (ball end)
• 1 seam ripper
• 1 measuring tape
• 1 1/2 yard of fabric (or 2 fat 1/4 yards)
• 1 12"x12" pillow form
