Learn to Make an Envelope Pillow

Your sewing journey will start off on the right foot with this class. You will learn how to thread your machine, how to wind and set a bobbin, and other sewing fundamentals. As a bonus, you will make a cute pillow cover to show off your new skills! For ages 8 and up.

If you need to borrow a machine for class, you will need to contact the store directly with the phone number provided during the registration process and in the confirmation email. 

All supplies should be purchased in advance, either in-store or online at joann.com.

WHAT TO BRING

• 1 sewing machine
• 1 sewing machine power cord
• 1 sewing machine foot control
• 1 pair of scissors (pinking shears, fabric scissors, paper scissors)
• 1 rotary cutter and mat (optional)
• 1 pair of small scissor snips
• 1 fabric marking tool
• 1 set of bobbin and thread
• 1 container of sewing pins (ball end)
• 1 seam ripper
• 1 measuring tape
• 1/2 yard of woven cotton fabric (or 2 fat quarters)
• 1 12"x12" pillow form
